for example in Formula 1 there are from 20 to 25 curves so you know the asphalt temperature of each curve, you know the cornering arrival report, you know the locking time, if there is rain or if there is sun, and other track data, so just enter these data in the dedicated software that will provide you with the best gearshifting speed for every single curve. As an example, a volswagen DSG with a modern dry clutch is much faster to change gear than a dual clutch gearbox (it should be noted that the dual clutch gearbox was born in Italy in the Minardi stable).
